The renowned Ink Grade Vineyard sits atop the Vaca mountain range along the eastern side of the mountain. Planted in 2000, it spans 200 acres of terraced mountain terrain. The combination red clay and volcanic ash soil structure lends very low yields with small berries with deeply structured tannins.
